YMCA Facility Closures for Stampede

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Kickoff Parade is next week, Thursday July 28th! We are so excited to see this amazing event return to our city after a two-year hiatus.

Facility Closures

The Downtown YMCA will be CLOSED 8:30 am to 11:00 am

The YMCA Employment Centre will be CLOSED from 8:30 am to 11:00 am

The South Ridge YMCA will remain open during this time for members who wish to access fitness facilities.

Parking Lot

We are expecting many spectators to utilize our parking lot during the parade. Please be aware that there will be increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the Downtown YMCA and Employment Centre.

YMCA Float

If you are watching the parade, be sure to keep an eye out for our YMCA float! Our staff have been working hard on this and it represents all parts of the YMCA. It will also feature some our Camp participants, and their smiling faces are definitely worth keeping an eye out for.
